She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles "Charlie" Clifton Beattie and Margaret "Maggie" Idella Hauer Beattie; her husband Ellis Cook; her siblings, Alma Beattie, Clifford Beattie, Paul Beattie, Elma Petit, Minnie Netterville, Freda Bruss, Louise Floyd, Bobbie Ashley, Pauline McCoy and Patricia Boles; her stepson Ronnie Daniel (Vedera); and her granddaughter Jennifer Daniel.
She is survived by: her children, Dean Padgett (Janice) of St. Francisville, LA and Olga Matherne (Roy Cain) of Pensacola, FL; her stepdaughter Joanne Wunstel of Central; her grandchildren, Jeff Daniel (Heather) of Prairieville, LA, Julie Lemoine (Jarod) of Plaucheville, LA, Dean Padgett, Jr. (Melissa) of Lake Charles, LA and Holly Martrain (Rodney Johnson) of Zachary, LA; and her great grandchildren, Jalen Martrain, Jack Lemoine, Jordan Martrain, Juliet Lemoine, Ethan Padgett and Cooper Padgett.
