She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Mae Kaufman Wendt and Robert Paul Wendt; her brother Kenneth "Kenny" Michael Wendt; and her stepson Sterling David Forbes. She is survived by: her husband David Wayne Forbes; her stepdaughter Margaret Leigh Forbes; her daughter Mary Margaret; her brother Thaddeus "Thad" Wendt (Heidi); her sister-in-law Evelyn Knight Wendt; her nieces, Kimberlee Wendt Madison (Bart) and Shelby Grace Wendt; her nephew Grayson Paul Wendt; and her pets, Melania, Dixie and Sassy.
