He was predeceased by: his father Douglas W. Thornton; and his grandparents, Pete and Juliette Thornton. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Burch Thornton; his daughters, Avery Paige Thornton and Emily Claire Thornton; his mother Wanda G. Thornton; his sisters, Denee Aydell (Dusty) and Darcie McMorris (Jeron); his nieces and nephews, Grace, Genna McMorris, Gavin McMorris, Camden Aydell and Cason Aydell; and his grandparents, Leroy and Evelyn Sanchez Guitreau.
