He is survived by: his wife Amy Thomas Spillman; his sons, Brian Slade Spillman (Hannah Fehr), Thomas Jordan Spillman and Terrell Browden; his brother Anthony Wayne Spillman (Stephanie); his parents-in-law, Joe Thomas and Wanda Dunn Thomas; his sisters-in-law, Julie Thomas Etheridge and Kim Spillman Felter; his grandmother Elwanda Peters; and also Missy McKey.
