She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Petty and Bernice Petty. She is survived by: her husband Gaius Ackman; her children, Deanna Mankins (Scott) and Michael Ackman (Amanda); her grandchildren, Molly Svoren (Raymond), Michael Mankins, Mallory Mankins, Thomas Ackman, Cooper Ackman (Anna) and Caleb Ackman (Natalea); and her great grandchild Jameson Svoren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. (4230 High St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
