She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Day and Lena Day (James Kennon McDaniel); and her siblings, Evelyn Pino, James E. Day, Wesley Day, Cecil Day and Earl Day.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Muse (Wayne), Dianne Tidwell (Eddie) and Jeff Leonard (Valerie); her sister Meryal Odom; her grandchildren, Tre'Engels (Natalie), Bradi Gaitan (David), Kaddie Rutledge (David), Travis Tidwell, Jaime Aaron (Ben) and Drew Leonard; and her great grandchildren, Hadley Engels, Will Taylor, Jackson Taylor, Captain Rutledge, Jude Gaitan, Carmen Gaitan, Gabi'Gaitan and Lily Aaron.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Zachary United Methodist Church (4205 Church St, Zachary, LA 70791). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
