He is survived by: his wife Bernice Brooks of Youngsville, LA; his daughters, Sharonetta Marie Brooks and Angelena Denise Brooks of Crowley, LA; his sister Gloria Brooks Venison of Port Arthur, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Kenneth Phillips (Geneva) of Lafayette, LA and Ida Connor (James) of Clinton, MD. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends.
