Though Jerry may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Leon Ford, Sr. and Lula Mae Thurmond Ford. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Sue "Susie" Henbest; his children, Shari Layne Ford Pieroni (Mark) and Jerry Jackson Ford, Jr. (Missy); his siblings, Alvin L. Ford, Jr. (Diane), Katie Marie Ford Boley (Matt) and Dr. Mary Jane Ford; and his grandchildren, Jared Pieroni, Daniel Pieroni (Rebecca), Ashley Pieroni DeLoach (Grady), John Parker Ford (Heather) and Dr. Jacob "Jake" A. Ford (Marina). He is also survived by eight great grandchildren plus a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
