It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edwin Francis Cornell III of Youngsville, Louisiana, born in Newark, New Jersey, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Virginia Oberg Cornell and Edwin Cornell; and his parents-in-law, Catherine Kmetz and John Kmetz. He is survived by: his wife Christine Cornell; his children, Edwin Cornell (Jana) and Jennifer Melancon (Jeff); his grandchildren, Michael Cornell, Sean Cornell, Hannah Melancon and Alec Melancon; his sister Claudette Bonfanti (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, John Kmetz (Marianne), Robert Kmetz and Anne Marie Kmetz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
