He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lopez and Margaret Wilson Lopez; his stepson Dathan A. Burgess; his father-in-law Ben Hall; and his siblings, Joseph Lopez, Jr., Dorothy Lopez Vital and Annie Mae Lopez Francis.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Hall Lopez of Youngsville, LA; his child Jakobe Bryant Davis of Youngsville, LA; his mother-in-law Florence B. Hall of New Iberia, LA; and his siblings, James Lopez (Bedelia) of Orange, TX, Robert Lewis Lopez (Catherine), Viola Lopez of New Iberia, LA and Lillie Faye Francis Wilson of New Iberia, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
