She was predeceased by: her husband Gustave J. Aucoin, III; her adoptive parents, Vivian Sotile and Vince Sotile; her father Samuel Doherty, Sr.; her sister Dana Ragland; her nephew Samuel "Trey" Doherty, III; and her great-niece Alexis Grayson.
She is survived by: her daughter Tania Stephens; her stepdaughter Heather Aucoin; her granddaughters, Alexandra Aucoin and Valarie Aucoin; and her siblings, Cindy Minson (Mike), Sammy Doherty (Laura), Sherri Bickham (Drew) and Debbie Barilleaux (Glenn).
