He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Prejean; his daughters, Ashlee Prejean (Courtney Dalcourt) and Brooke Prejean (Juston Chretien); his granddaughter Emersyn Chretien; his brother Dwayne Prejean (Peggy); his godson Ross Prejean (Sarah); and his great-nephews, Sawyer and Walker Prejean.

A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior's Church of Lafayette (1201 E Broussard Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508). A prayer will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Saviors Church - Lafayette Campus (1201 E Broussard Rd, Lafayette, LA 70508).
