Roland James Lachney Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 28, 2024, at the age of 61, Roland James Lachney (Woodworth, Louisiana) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Claris Genius and Noland Lachney, Sr.; his stepfather Dale Genius; and his aunts and uncles, B. C. Estes, Jr., Willie Clark, Jr., Lawrence Lachney, Hazel Franks and Nita Clark.
He is survived by: his daughter Renee (Lachney); his son-in-law Robert Filla; his children, Brandy Lachney and Mathew Lachney; his granddaughters, Natalie Manson and Ryan Filla; and his siblings, Michael Lachney, Rusty Lachney and Deede Lachney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kramer Funeral Home (2905 Masonic Dr, Alexandria, LA 71301). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Alexandria Memorial Gardens - Woodworth (8855 US-165, Woodworth, LA 71485).
