It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Watkins (Wisner, Louisiana), born in Harrisonburg, Louisiana, who passed away on January 13, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughters, Edna Fay Watkins and Karen Franklin; his son-in-law Charles Thornhill; and his sisters, Livice Guillot, Joelyne Cowan and Margie Wedgeworth.
He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Watkins of Wisner; and his sisters, Joyce Secrest of Longview, TX and Lillie Morris (Troy) of West Monroe. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
