It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Young of Wisner, Louisiana, who passed away on January 21, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandson Benjamin Young Jennings. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Burns Young of Wisner; his children, Tony (Marlene Young), June (Danny Jennings), Peggy (David Kallevig) and Jesse (Leslie Young); his grandchildren, Daniel Young, Marny Wheeler, Jamie Atwell, Jessica Handy, Michael Young, Mark Kallevig, Candace Aaker and Nathaniel Jennings; his great grandchildren, Mason, Eva Wheeler, Eleanor, Jubal Atwell, Evangeline, Abram, Nicholas, Dorothy, Margaret Young, Asher, Auriella Aaker and Ada Kallevig; and his caregivers, Delia Crum, Dena Allbritton, Kasey Berry, Homecare and Dr. Roger Smith. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
