He was predeceased by: his children, Richard Zane Roberts, Michelle Shirley and Rene; his siblings, Thomas Roberts (Lily Kenney Roberts), Gerald Roberts and Louise Caillouet of New Orleans; and his brother-in-law Eddie Caillouet.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne Curington Roberts; his daughter Kimberly Thomas (Carl); his sister Stella Fatzer (Lionel); his grandchildren, Christopher, Joseph Thomas, Paul Gillespie and Elizabeth McCain; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Alice Rhodes, JoAnn Taylor, Betty Sauseda, Lily McQuillen Roberts, Vernon Curington, Fred Taylor and Bennie Sauseda. He is also survived by five great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
