It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxine Williams Calhoun of Wisner, Louisiana, born in Gilbert, Louisiana, who passed away on September 2, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harry Calhoun; and her siblings, J. C., Harry, Shelby Williams and Pauline McFarland.
She is survived by: her children, Bibby Hudson Savage (Jim) and Stacy Calhoun (Mary); and her siblings, Louise Rowton, Dorothy Smith, Irma Lee Cicet, Nettie Jean Remore, Rufus "Cosmo" Williams, Jr. and Eugene "PeeWee" Williams. She is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
