Glendale King Obituary

Funeral services for Glendale King, Sr., 68, of Wisner will be 2 pm Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at Kendricks Ferry Pentecostal Church with Rev. Danny Davis and Rev. James McMurray officiating. Interment will follow in South Central Cemetery under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 - 8 pm Tuesday, February 16, 2015, at the funeral home.

Mr. King was born May 8, 1947 in Wisner to the union of L. J. King, Sr. and Lula Mae Caldwell King and passed from this life on February 13, 2015, at his residence in Wisner. Mr. King was preceded in death by his parents L. J. and Lula Mae King. Survivors include is his wife Linda King of Gilbert; three children: Beckie Burns of Natchez, MS, Glendale King, Jr. and wife Patricia of Oak Ridge, Lula Harris and Herman Richardson of Natchez, MS; mother of his children Edna King of Wisner; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great -great grandchild; four brothers: Paul King and wife Hazel of Hobbs, NM, Ralph King of Etowah, AR, L. J. King, Jr., Jimmy King of Wisner; two sisters: Sandra Sayers and husband Robert of Wisner, Mary Francis Thornhill of Wisner; a host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
