It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Mae Wright Brown of Wisner, Louisiana, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings-in-law, Georgie "Belle" Warner (Robert) and Charles "Sheffie" Brown (Vivian); her parents, Luther Wright and Rosa Ferrington Wright; her husband Eldon Spencer Brown Jr.; and her nephew Harry Viener (Jacqueline).
She is survived by: her niece Belinda Brown Hazel (Donald); her caregivers, Wilma Stovall, Carol Austin, Elizabeth Warbington, Sandy Prince, Rebecca Lawson and Annie Hilliard; and her close friends, Sue McDonald and Fran Guy. She is also survived by three great-nieces and two great-nephews.
