He was predeceased by: his grandfather Dennis; his parents, Jim Berry and Pearlie Berry; his wife Bell Young Berry; his brother Elbert Berry (Bobby); his sons, James Berry and Dennis Ray Berry; and his granddaughters, Crystal and Rebecca Berry.
He is survived by: his nephew Dennis; his daughters, Carolyn Martin (Wayne) of Gloster, LA and Amy Beasley (Bryan) of Collierville, TN; his grandchildren, Leah Pohorelsky (Peter), Madeline Michel (Nikolaus), Jordan Beasley (Monica), Hannah Rogotzke (Chris), Jeb Berry (Summer), Molly Berry and Kasey Mayo; his great grandchildren, Colton, Aliza, Elizabeth, Claire, Sophia, Braxton, Rhenn and Maddox; his niece Mignonne Berry; his cousin Samuel Berry (Brittany); and his friends, Lois and Margaret.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the South Central Baptist Church (3571-3485 LA-875, Wisner, LA 71378). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to a cause of your choice that would honor Dennis's memory and would suggest any of the following: South Central Baptist Church, Northeast Louisiana Veterans Home, or South Central Cemetery.
