He is survived by: his wife Dorothy L. Russell of Winnsboro; his children, Kalicia R. Beasley (Gary) of Rayville and Willie Waggoner Russell, III (Markaye H. Russell) of Calhoun; and his grandchildren, William Lee Beasley (Mackenzie), Ali Beasley Garriga (Michael) and Mallory Russell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.

Any planned memorials may be made to the LA 4-H Foundation, LA Tech Foundation, Farm Bureau Foundation or First Baptist Church, Winnsboro.
