He was predeceased by: his parents, John Halbrook and Elizabeth Burris Halbrook; his wife Lillie Mahoney Halbrook; his children, James Edward Halbrook and Angela Faye Box; and his siblings, Samuel, Laverne, Raymond, James, Junita Mahoney, Mildred Coln and Dorothy Currengton.
He is survived by: his children, Beth Butler (Bobby), Donald Halbrook (Nancy), Melody Baskin, Joseph Halbrook (Linda), Janie Yoakam (Pat) and John Halbrook (Penny); and his sister Ouida Davis. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
