She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth L. Beckum of Dallas and Dr. Orlando K. Beckum, MD (Toi) of Houston, Texas.; her grandchildren, Najee, Orlando II and Kai; her great grandchildren, Kendrick and Zahara; and her siblings, Herbert Bowie, Esther Moore, Ivory Scott (Ernest) and Dorothy "Penny" Bowie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
