He is survived by: his mother Cecelia Ann Smith Courtney (Gary Avera); his wife Magan Courtney; his children, Sydney Courtney Pope (Bryce Pope), Blayne Shively, Maddison Campbell and Bentley Barfield; his father Kirk Courtney; his parents-in-law, Rhonda Campbell and Guy Barfield; his siblings, James Courtney (Andrea), Brittany Courtney and Derrick Musgrove; his aunt Jennifer Riddle (Steve Riddle); his grandchildren, Madi and Oakley Pope; and his close friend Guillermo Marroquin. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
