With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeanie Posey McCarthy of Winnsboro, Louisiana, who passed away on March 26, 2024 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche Beasley Posey and Floyd Ray Posey, Sr.; and her brothers, Aaron A. Posey and Floyd Ray Posey, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Bruce McCarthy; her children, Wade Waller of Winnsboro, Floyd "Duncan" Waller (Casey) of Winnsboro, Chris McCarthy (Ginna) of Winnsboro and Dustin McCarthy (Amy) of Winnsboro; her brothers, Bobby Posey (Peggy) of Branson, MO and Danny Posey (Janice) of Winnsboro, LA; her grandchildren, Zachary, Zadiee, Logan Waller, Adam, Amber Waller, Cody McCarthy, Landon Wall and Harper Grace McCarthy; and her great grandchild Lakelyn Morgan. She is also survived by extended family and numerous friends.
