With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Floyd Ellis PotterJr. of Winnsboro, Louisiana, who passed away on January 24, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Floyd Ellis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Floyd Ellis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Floyd Ellis leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Laura Guillot. He is survived by: his wife Rose; his children, Billy Temple (Faye) and Annie Rawles (Coty); and his siblings, Patricia White and Tommy Potter. He is also survived by grandchildren; six (6) great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, and many other family members and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Fort Necessity Baptist Church Cemetery.
