Crain of Winnsboro, Louisiana, born in Fort Necessity, Louisiana, who passed away on January 7, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Cecil Crain and Katie Cooper Crain; and his daughter Angelia Crain. He is survived by: his wife Rita Crain of Winnsboro; his daughters, Denise Herron (Thad) of Winnsboro and Donice Mayo (Preston) of West Monroe; his grandchildren, Hillary Herron, Auldon, Hallie Herron and Dylan Slaton; his stepgrandchildren, Kaylea, Madison Coates, Trace Mayo, Jacob and Bella Mayo; his great grandchild Jasper Dixon Herron; his siblings, Dallas "Frog" Crain (Syble) of Mangham, Dora Smith (D. D.) of Wisner and Dorothy Pearl Oliver of Winnsboro; his uncle Ernest; and his aunt Helen Lewis. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
