He was predeceased by: his daughter Debo Westerburg; and his siblings, Charles Edward Fortenberry, Jerry Neal Fortenberry and Dixie Marie Milton. He is survived by: his wife Gertrude Posey Fortenberry; his children, Ricky Fortenberry (Amy), Scott Fortenberry (Leah) and Penny Halbrook (John); and his sisters, Judy Dianne Brown and Donna Fortenberry. He is also survived by grandchildren; seven (7) great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews; and other family members and friends.
