She was predeceased by: her husband Huey Pierce Russell, Sr.; and her brothers, Wiley Phillip Shafer, Jack Shafer, Gordon Shafer and Donnie Shafer.
She is survived by: her children, Marie Russell Harlow (Barry) of Newellton, LA, Huey "Rusty" Russell, Jr. of St. Joseph, LA, Robert Wade Russell (Delores) of Newellton, LA and Donald Russell of McKenzie, TN; and her sister Sybil Miller (Chester) of Lake Charles, LA. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
