He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Thomas "Roy T" Waxley and Nancy Lee Jordan Waxley; and his sister JoAnn Waxley Carter. He is survived by: his wife Francis LaRue Taylor Waxley of Winnfield, Louisiana; and his sons, Thomas Layne Waxley (Sharon) of Winnfield, Louisiana and Willard Dayne Waxley of Bossier City, Louisiana. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Corinth Baptist Church (546 LA-472, Winnfield, LA 71483).
