It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheila Ann Walker Stewart of Winnfield, Louisiana, who passed away on September 28, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ardis Roscoe McElroy and Ruth Inez Norred McElroy; and her husband Gerald Stewart. She is survived by: her brother John Ray McElroy (Joyce); her children, Mike Walker (Kathy), Bobby Yelverton (Nadine) and Sarita Horne (Tracey); her grandchildren, Cara Barnes (Daniel), Lauren Emmons (Michael) and Thomas Horne; and her great grandchildren, Lilly Barnes, Mattie Barnes, Kylianne Barnes, Cooper Barnes, Jake Emmons and Rhett Emmons. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and honorary family and friends.
