He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Phillips Cole and Bonnie Lee Reppert Cole. He is survived by: his wife Melanie Ann Read Cole; his daughters, Shelley Cole Parker (Jeff) of Choudrant, LA and Kendal Cole Singh (Kevin) of Ruston, LA; his grandsons, Preston Luke Parker, John Cole Parker and Patrick Woodgate Singh; and his sisters, Karen Cole Ballenger (Grady) of DeLand, FL and Kristy Cole Farr (Doug) of Monroe, LA. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (111 E Court St, Winnfield, LA 71483). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

To celebrate his life, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church in Winnfield, LA 201 E. Court Street, 71483; Louisiana Baptist Children's Home P.O. Box 4196 Monroe, LA 71211; or Samaritan's Purse P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607.
