She is survived by: her children, Deano Thornton (Teresa) and Gilda Wood (Wayne); her grandchildren, Bryan Wood (Angie), Jeremy Wood (Kelli), Liza Grimm (John) and Mallorie Gardner (Lance); and her close friend Judge David Hobdy, Jr. (Cynthia). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several cherished nieces and nephews.
