She was predeceased by: her parents, Charley McHenry Tatum and Margret Deliah Henderson; her children, Jimmy Vernon Waters, Eunice Waters Chandler and Anne Waters Hicks; her grandson John Tatum Atkins; her sisters, Esther Shirley and Floyce Hagen; her uncle Will Tatum; her sons-in-law, Jlynn Atkins and Jimmy Hicks; and the father of her children Carl Waters.
She is survived by: her daughter Elaine Atkins of Tullos; her son-in-law Bobby Joe Chandler; and her grandchildren, Jim Hudson, Wendy Atkins, Clint Atkins, Cale Chandler, Craig Chandler, Elizabeth Chandler, Sharon Boddie, Jennifer Speed, Amy Barton and Crystal Phelps. She is also survived by 21 Great Grandchildren, 9 Great-Great Grandchildren.
