She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Straughan and Beatrice Straughan; her niece Stacey Gardner; and her nephew Steven Straughan. She is survived by: her husband Harold Tarver; her brother Thomas Straughan (Reggie Lou); her niece Susan Carter (Buck) of Winnfield; and her nephews, Buck Carter, Kyle Carter, Cooper Gardner, Lance Gardner, Andrew Straughan, Eli Straughan and Jake Hemphill.
