He is survived by: his wife Betty Jo Roberts Fannin; his children, Christy Bates (Will), Jason Mercer (Martha), Melissa Mercer and Joseph Mercer (Brittany); his grandchildren, Chase, Madison, Marisa, Jacob, Jonah, Clay, Machaela, Sarrah, Carlie, Jamie and Liam; his great grandchild William Cooper; and his siblings, Dorothy McGlothlin, Kelly R. Fannin and James "Jim" Fannin (Kitty). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
