She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Monroe Carson and Shirley Ann Conley Carson; the father of her children Mickey Lynn Bates; and her nephew Jeremy Pitman. She is survived by: her children, Mickey Lynn Bates, Jr. (Lerai), Christopher "Micheal" Bates (Miranda) and Crissy Ann Bates; her grandchildren, Bree, Maddie Jurek, Haley, Cambry, Kylie, Garrett, Avereigh, Ashton, Anna and Allison Bates; and her siblings, Brenda Burt and Terry Carson.
