He was predeceased by: his wife Inez Modest. He is survived by: his children, Ethel M. Howell (Robert) of Winnfield, LA, Audrey F. Calhoun of Winnfield, L. A., Barbara J. Calhoun-Gibson (late Joe Gibson) and Husher L. Calhoun (Valerie) of Shreveport, LA; his adoptive daughter Gwendolyn M. Carprue (Bennie) of Ruston, LA.; his grandchildren, Jasquin Gibson (Deanna) of Phoenix, AZ and Nedra L.; and his sisters, Elsie Calhoun-Jones and Athlean Calhoun-Archey (Thomas) of Shreveport, LA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, god-children and other family and friends.
