We are sad to announce that on December 25, 2022, at the age of 93, Huey Patrick Blake of Winnfield, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Myrtle Smith Blake and Nathaniel Marion Blake; his wife Velma Elizabeth Blake; and his granddaughter Lori Annette Jones. He is survived by: his children, Harley E. Blake (Eva), Judy M. Luther (John P.), Linda Parker (Keith) and Melba Shaw (David); his sister Mavis Sullivan; and his grandchildren, Corie Gerth, Ryan Blake, Jason Blake, Arielle Blake, James Robert Luther, I, Travis Nathaniel Luther, Shonna Parker, Bryon Parker and Chelsea Trammell. He is also survived by his sister that Red called "my Emma," Emma Morris; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
