He was predeceased by: his son Levi Allen Smith; his wife Sharon Kaye Peel Smith; his parents, Willie Levi Smith and Clorea Richardson Smith; and his siblings, Willie Sherman "Billy" Smith and Betty Jean Smith Rowell.
He is survived by: his children, Staci Ann Smith McIntire (late Michael James McIntire), Kenneth Wayne Smith (Brandie), Edward Levi Smith (Brian) and Robert Kyle Smith. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
