She was predeceased by : her brothers, David M. Hinton and Dennis D. Hinton. She is survived by : her significant other James Byron Hubbard; her daughter Melinda L. Hubbard; her sister Dena Hinton Young of Winnfield, Louisiana.; and her siblings-in-law, Candace Gray (Robert) of Sapulpa, Oklahoma and Lowell Hubbard (Debra) of Winnfield, Louisiana.

Visitation was held on Monday, July 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Southern Funeral Home (202 E Lafayette St, Winnfield, LA 71483). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 2nd 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
