She was predeceased by: her parents, Reece Tarver and Ina Mae Keese Tarver; her husbands, B. L. Horton and R. R. "Dick" Ashcroft; her children, Dianna Horton Weego and Robert Leonard Horton; and her sister Marilyn Voorhies.
She is survived by: her son Jimmy Horton (Jeannie) of Jena, LA; and her grandchildren, Michelle Terry, Chris Weego, Cari Owens, Jennifer McVeigh, Matt Horton, Hannah Ranton, Melissa Sealy, Christina Bounds and Paighton Rhodes. She is also survived by 21 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield Wednesday (202 E Lafayette St, Winnfield, LA 71483).
