He is survived by: his wife Amanda Hagan Long; his children, Judy Spurgeon, Alan Long, Richard Long (Janice) and Charles Long; his grandchildren, Jonathan Spurgeon (Kaitlin McBroom), Joanna Spurgeon, Brian Long, Jessica Long, Curtis Long (Esther Montachez), Candice Brigalia (Jeremy), Michael Long, Matthew Long and Amanda Long; his great grandchildren, Catherine Spurgeon, Sophia Spurgeon, Lili LaBorde, Alex LaBorde, Josiah Brigalia, Jentzen Brigalia and Titus Long; and his brother Billy Long.
