He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie E. Williams and Gyncea Townsend Williams; his brothers, Alvin Williams, Clifford Williams and Carlos "Bo" Williams; and his nephew Gerald Williams.
He is survived by: his niece Rita Avent; and his nephews, Don Williams, Leon Williams and David Williams. He is also survived by great nieces, nephews and some very close friends.
