She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Eugene and Hattie Parkman Jones; her husband Johnny Wade Bryan of New Era, LA; and her sisters, Evelyn "Winkie" Brantley and Lucille Wiley.
She is survived by: her daughter Johnnie Ruth Bryan Sturgeon; her son-in-law John Sturgeon of Vidalia; her grandsons, James Sturgeon and John Sturgeon III; her great grandchildren, John Sturgeon IV of Texas, Thomas Bryan Sturgeon of Texas and Samuel N. Sturgeon of Texas; and also Eve. She is also survived by her grandsons and great-grandsons.
