Melancon; his children, Guy Lee, Carl Melancon, Valentine Melancon Jr., Jerry Melancon, Teranie Thompson (Bob), Angela Goodman (Baron), Roslyn Melancon, Twila Collins, Denise Conley, JaNace Melancon, Myrianne Johnson and Monet Johnson; and his siblings, Sidney Rosemond (Mary), Percy Rosemond Sr., James Rosemond, Arthur Rosemond Sr. (Hilda), Ronald Samuel (Tee), Lena Pollard, Eula Johnson, Margaret Lumar, Ethel Savoie, Corinne Lumar, Anita Morris, Eunice Smith, Julie Joseph, Walter Rosemond, Norman Samuel Jr., Henry Samuel Sr. and Riley Samuel. He is also survived by 30 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and devoted friends.
