He was predeceased by: his wife Alice Smith Walker; his son Sherman Ray (Molly); his parents, Joseph Ralph Walker and Myrtle Brown Walker; and his daughter-in-law Ursula Johnson Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Roy Walker, Jr. (Carlita), Bernadette Duplessis, Norris Rene Walker (Dolores), Elder Brian Walker, Sr. (Jennifer), Eric Walker, Sr. (Alice), Roxann Cyprian (Perry), Jeffery Walker, Jennifer DuBois (Cory), Willie Lee Miles, Larry Doak, Elton (Janice) and Wade Wendell Walker (Brenda); his siblings, Earl Walker, Lloyd Walker and Dolores Williams; his son-in-law Johnny Duplessis; and his sister-in-law Sherry Lee Tate. He is also survived by 52 grandchildren, 101 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
