He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Lanassa and Evelyn Lanassa; and his granddaughter Jade Lanassa. He is survived by: his wife Constance "Connie" Hertz Lanassa; his children, Ronald "Ron" Lanassa, Jr. and Wyndy L. Chopin (Joab); his granddaughters, Amber Chopin-Smith (Nick), Alyssa Lanassa and Kayla Lanassa; his great grandchildren, A'lijah, Alonzo and Neeko Smith; and his sister Kathy Lanassa Bernard (Lynn). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
