He is survived by: his godsons, Darrin Hargis and Dane Hargis; his stepchildren, Christopher Sherrill, Katelyn Stauffer and John Sherrill, Jr.; and his stepgrandchildren, Vito Sherrill, Scarlet Stauffer and Milo Sherrill.
