He is survived by: his children, Lorian D. Benjamin and Loren Edward Johnson, Jr.; his stepchild Jestinee Benjamin-Canales (Edgar Canales); his grandchildren, Kingston Murray and Isaiah Canales; his mother Lucille Cavalier Johnson-Sawyer; his stepfather Morris Sawyer Jr.; his siblings, Wanda Rhea (late Larry Rhea Sr.) of Fredericksburg, VA, Duane Johnson and Wayne Johnson (Yvette Morrison-Johnson); and his aunts and uncles, Arjery Smith, Oliver Thornton and Geraldine Shanks. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
